Office of Institutional Effectiveness
Institutional Effectiveness (IE) supports Bakersfield College's Mission, Vision, and Values through its commitment to providing quality, accessible, and relevant data and information to our students, staff, the communities we serve, and the public. Our work helps to facilitate data-driven decision making and planning processes. One of our goals is to leverage this to help improve student learning and institutional effectiveness.
IE conducts research and provides reports and data related to most core institutional functions and goals.
- Institutional planning and accountability
- Accreditation
- College Initiatives (like Student Success & Equity, Strong Workforce, etc.)
- Student learning outcomes and assessment (Assessment Committee)
- Program review and administrative unit review
- Matriculation and enrollment strategies (Enrollment Management Committee)
