Bakersfield College recognizes the importance and benefits of using technology to enhance student learning, especially as it helps students, faculty and staff communicate more effectively. Our goal is to provide content that is accessible to all individuals, regardless of their abilities.
Our website content is created to meet and exceed the minimum requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA success criteria in accordance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the U.S. Department of Justice ruling Web Accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act Title II (2023).
