Research Requests

To request a specific research project from Institutional Effectiveness, please complete our Research Request form.

Our office will review your request within 48 business hours and provide you with information on next steps. (If your research request includes human subjects, please use the Human Subjects Research Request process below.)

Human Subjects Research Requests

If you would like to conduct human subjects research, you will need to submit your request to the Bakersfield College Institutional Review Board (IRB). Please complete our Application for Human Subjects Research Projects form.

At the end of the application, you will be asked to submit your application documents to research@bakersfieldcollege.edu or in-person at the Administrative Services building, Room 151. Your application and documents will be sent to the IRB for review. Institutional Effectiveness will contact you with next steps.
