Institutional Effectiveness will often leverage data from external resources to enhance its research and information gathering work. Below are several important highlights.
CCCCO Data Mart is a repository for Management Information Systems data that is reported to the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office.
The CCC LaunchBoard is a system that provides data on progress, success, employment, and earnings outcomes for California Community College students. It is hosted by Cal-PASS Plus and supported by the California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office, the RP Group, Academic Senate for California Community Colleges, Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems, and Centers of Excellence for Labor Market Research.
IPEDS is a U.S. Department of Education system that aggregates annual surveys from every college, university, and technical/vocational institution that participates in federal student financial aid programs.
The California Student Centered Funding Formula calculates how California Community Colleges receive state funding based on (1) a base allocation for enrollment, (2) a supplemental allocation based on students receiving the California Promise grant, Pell Grant, and those covered by AB 540 (non-resident tuition exemption), and (3) a student success allocation based on student outcomes. This site contains data and resources for the SCFF.
The CCC Student Success Metrics Dashboard is part of the CCC LaunchBoard. It highlights student progression through recruitment to completion, transfer, and the workforce.
The DOE College Scorecard provides institution-level and field-of-study-level data that is mostly gathered from IPEDS.
The CSU Data Center is resource mostly geared toward the CSU community that provides information, research, analytical services, and data analysis about the CSU system.
The UC Information Center tells the UC story through enrollment, graduation rate, and alumni outcomes data across the 10 UC campuses.
The CTE Perkins V Reports website is part of the CCCCO Management Information Systems division and provides information and reports on core and performance student data related to CTE.
