If requested, complete the fillable PDF forms and submit to the financial aid office. All documents must be physically signed and dated. Submit completed documents by email from your BC student email.

Bakersfield College Foundation Emergency Fund Application

The Bakersfield College Student Emergency Fund is intended to assist the most vulnerable of our student population with continuing and succeeding in their educational goals despite facing potential financial crises.

Granted requests will be as a ONE-TIME emergency grant, not a loan that requires repayment. As funds will be limited and are not an entitlement, they will be distributed at the discretion of the BC Foundation & Office of Financial Aid. Applications will be evaluated in the order they are received and are contingent upon available funding.

Book Advance Applications for Spring 2025 will be open Wednesday, January 8, 2025 and close Friday, April 18, 2025. Begin the Book Advance request form!

Book Advances are granted for educational expenses only to qualifying students during the first few weeks of the semester. Only one Book Advance application will be accepted during the semester. Book Advances will be deducted from your Pell grant disbursement or repaid by the student.

Chromebook/Electronic Equipment Advance Application

*Application will open for Spring 2025 on January 13th

Please complete the Chromebook/Electronic Equipment Advance Application to borrow a Chromebook or laptop (based on availability) for the semester. The application needs to be submitted each semester for the request and it is based on a first-come first served basis, while supplies last.
