Renegade Card

Every Bakersfield College student is required to obtain a student identification card. Ours is called the Renegade Card. This card serves as proof of identification at any Student Services department on campus. You will need this card to check out books in the Library, to print in our computer labs, to receive discounted game tickets, and many other services.

To take your photo and to receive your Renegade Card, visit the Office of Student Life located in the new Campus Center building, Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

To obtain your Renegade Card:

• Please have your BC ID number and any form of photo identification available
• Be prepared to take a picture!
• Visit the Office of Student Life, located in the new Campus Center Building (Mon-Thurs, 8:00 AM - 5 PM)
• Alert OSL staff that you are taking your picture for your Renegade Card

• If your card is lost, there is a $5 cash only fee for a replacement

• No hats, no glasses, and your face must be clear and visible
• If students have paid for the student services fee for the semester they can pick up their ID at any time, otherwise:
  • In Summer the can receive it 1 week before their classes start
  • In Fall they can receive it 2 weeks before their classes start
  • In Spring they can receive it 1 week before their classes start
