Our program serves a variety of students, including disadvantaged individuals and those learning English as a second language. Bakersfield College Adult Education offers a variety of services to help students succeed, including advising, tutoring, and job readiness assistance.

Our support includes:

  • Helping you enroll at BC and registering for classes
  • Advising you on an education plan to meet your goals
  • Job readiness and professional development opportunities
  • Connecting you to resources
  • Assisting with foreign degree transfers
  • Technology support, DSPS accommodations, and  tutoring
  • Textbooks and materials (contingent on funding)
