Introduction to Library Research

If your research skills need improvement, this is the class for you. Concurrent enrollment in English B1A is not required.

  • 1 unit transferable (articulates with UC and CSU)
  • Can meet 2 hours a week for 8 weeks or 1 hour a week for 16 weeks
  • Improve the quality of your research papers
  • Learn the basics of research for academic courses
  • Learn the difference between a journal, an index and a magazine
  • Learn when to use the Internet ... and when to avoid it
  • Amaze your friends with your encyclopedic knowledge of how to find good stuff
