Performing Arts Welcomes the Renowned Piano and Percussion Group ‘Vesna Duo’

The Performing Arts Department is excited to invite you to a special performance by the renowned piano and percussion group, Vesna Duo. Featuring the extraordinary talents of Dr. Liana Paildoze Harron (piano) and Dr. Ksenija Komljenovic (percussion), Vesna Duo reimagines beloved classics with breathtaking artistry and innovative arrangements. They will be performing Thursday, March 27th, at 6:00PM in the Simonsen Indoor Theater on BC’s Panorama campus. Admission is free, and all students, staff, and community members are welcome to attend.

Hailing from the Republic of Georgia and Serbia, Dr. Harron and Dr. Komljenovic draw upon their rich cultural backgrounds to explore a dynamic fusion of musical traditions, cultures, and styles. Their synergy on stage is a testament to years of collaboration, passion, and unwavering dedication to their craft, making each performance a captivating experience for critics and audiences alike. From iconic stages like Carnegie Hall to renowned venues across the world, both artists have earned numerous international solo and music chamber awards.

Their impressive careers are marked by a wealth of expertise, showcasing their talents in music through performances, outstanding accomplishments, and exclusive masterclasses. The duo’s remarkable talents have been widely recognized, earning praise from esteemed publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Throw the Dice and Play Nice, NPR, and more.
