BC Hosts Spring 2025 Transfer Day

Tuesday, March 11, 2025
The Transfer Pathways Department at BC recently hosted Transfer Day for Spring 2025. This unique event brings together several colleges and universities to BC’s Panorama Campus, giving students an amazing opportunity to talk to school representatives, get admissions information, discuss campus environments, and evaluate their academic options.
While BC has hosted Transfer Days during the Fall semesters, this is the first spring offering for the event. Ben Perlado, Director of Transfer Pathways, expressed excitement for this new offering. “This is our first Spring Transfer Day, and it gives our students another great opportunity to explore their education options,” said Perlado, “especially for those who are mid-year transfers.”
The Spring Transfer Day also featured a new format where students could attend workshops hosted by the visiting colleges and universities. Many participating schools held focused workshops where students could get more in-depth information on their programs, campuses, degrees, and more. “The new workshops give the students a closer look at the schools,” said Perlado, “and they can get more information about the transfer process and next steps at those specific schools.” Some of the colleges that hosted workshops throughout the day were CSU Bakersfield, UC Santa Barbara, California Aeronautical University, Grand Canyon University, and others.
More than twenty-five colleges and universities were on hand, including the University of La Verne, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, and other local and private universities. There will be another Transfer Day in Fall 2025, so be sure to visit the BC Online Events Calendar for future events.
