Recently, Bakersfield College hosted a STEM Club and Resource Fair in the Science and Engineering building. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with representatives from the BC STEM Clubs and resource programs, who were ready to share invaluable insights, financial support, and other essential resources.
Booths lined the halls on the first and second floor of the Science and Engineering building, each staffed by knowledgeable representatives eager to offer advice, valuable resources, and guidance to help students thrive in their academic pursuits. Several BC programs and STEM clubs were present, including Financial Aid, EOPS, NASSSP, MESA, Pre-Med, Research Laboratory Technology, and many more. Attendees were able to engage with their peers and mentors in meaningful conversations, ask questions, and learn about unique opportunities that could enhance their academic and professional journeys.
The event fostered a collaborative atmosphere, with more than 200 students visiting throughout the event. It is exciting to see students connect with peers, faculty, and resources that can assist them in their academic journey. Thank you STEM department for all your hard work in putting this incredible event together. We look forward to hearing the success stories of students who pursue their STEM careers at BC!
