Career Education Department Hosts 2024 Spring Health Fair

Earlier this week, the Bakersfield College Career Education Department hosted the Spring 2024 Health Career Fair to provide BC students with education opportunities, career advancement, and resources in the healthcare field. The event took place in the Renegade Crossroads on BC’s Panorama Campus.

Invitations were extended to employers and professionals from various healthcare fields, including Radiology Technology, Public Health, EMT, Nursing, and many others. Attending students were able to discuss potential opportunities and pathways. The fair was bustling with students, faculty, and vendors throughout the courtyard actively networking and gaining more insight into their desired careers.

There were dozens of vendors situated along the sidewalk eagerly awaiting the opportunity to engage with BC Renegades with helpful information and career resources. Some of the vendors who were present included: Health Information Technology, West Coast University, as well as various informational healthcare services like Maxim and Around the Clock.
