BC Graduates! We are excited to announce the dates for Grad Fair 2024!
Students, need to order your cap and gown?
Known as regalia, our graduation attire: cap, gown, stole, and tassel, can be purchased in the Bakersfield College Bookstore, located on the Panorama Campus, or online.
Regalia can be purchased in a package or separately, if you already have some parts. Please remember that students must wear the traditional black cap and gown with the Bakersfield College stole and tassel to participate in commencement.
Kindly proceed to the Online Campus Store for online purchases. In-store purchases will continue up until Graduation week while supplies last.
You must schedule an appointment for portraits through Ultimate Exposures. You will receive further instructions once an appointment time has been scheduled.

If you’re not sure if you’re ready to graduate and haven’t yet submitted your graduation petition, please visit the Student Information Desk to speak to an advisor. If your petition has not been processed yet, don't sweat it. There is a team working hard behind the scenes to accurately check every petition. You will hear from them soon!
