BC Hosts Annual Financial Aid Fest and Resource Fair

Understanding the Financial Aid process can often be overwhelming for college students. The Financial Aid and Scholarships Department at Bakersfield College hosts the annual Financial Aid Fest to educate and assist students as they navigate through the financial aid process.

Both current and future BC students were invited to participate in the 2024 Financial Aid Fest in the Renegade Event Center on BC’s Panorama campus on February 7th. Students networked with representatives from several BC departments, local businesses, and community partners to get personalized support and learn about federal and state funding options. Financial Aid Fest is more than just paperwork and brochures; attendees enjoyed a fun and vibrant celebration of opportunity that featured food, music, and resources for students to make their financial aid experience understandable and manageable.

BC’s goal is always to empower and equip students for success while on their academic journey, and we are thrilled to have hosted yet another wonderful event to benefit our students.
