BC Welcomes Students Back to School for Fall 2023

The first week of the fall semester was a success for new and returning students at Bakersfield College. All students had the opportunity to get involved in events and find community on campus. We hosted a few different events including pop-up tents with free items Monday through Thursday, an Ice Cream Social on Tuesday and Thursday, Game On video games on Wednesday, and Karaoke Knights on Thursday. Our students' academic and social lives are important to their success on campus. We were able to create a diverse environment at each event for students of all backgrounds, ethnicities, genders, and religions to feel safe and welcome to be involved in the on-campus community.
