BAKERSFIELD, CA - Bakersfield College is excited to announce the launch of its new website on Thursday, August 3rd. The new website features a modern design and an improved user experience for students and the community. The new website was under development for many months, and BC is proud to offer a new user-friendly, informative, and engaging online experience. The new website, hosted on the Modern Campus platform, features a sleek and responsive design that is optimized for both computer and mobile devices so new and current students can find what they’re looking for with ease. The Bakersfield College web team sourced feedback from students, faculty, staff, and the community, while also considering best practices of web design.
The new website has already been praised by students and members of the pilot group. Renegade student Javier Gutierrez is a big fan of the new site including the one-stop shop page for current students. He says, “The new website is a great improvement from the last one! It’s so much easier to use and I really think that this new website will significantly enhance the overall college experience for students as they make their way to and through BC."
