Parents of Seniors in High School: Beat the March 2nd Financial Aid Application Priority Deadline

Last year, AB 469 otherwise known as “All In for Financial Aid” was passed. Starting in the 2022-23 academic school year, high schools, and school districts (Local Educational Agencies) will need to ensure that all 12th graders in the state of California complete a FAFSA or CA Dream Act Application, unless the student has formally submitted an opt-out waiver. The local California Student Opportunity and Access Program (CAL-SOAP) team is prepared to assist students and parents with their financial aid application.

March 1, 2023 from 3:00PM to 7:30PM

Bakersfield College (CSS Building Rm 206)

Checklist of Items to Bring:
- Student's Social Security Number (if applicable)
- Student Social Security Number (if applicable)
- 2021 Tax Information
- Parent(s) Date of Birth
- Parents date of marriage/separation/divorce (if applicable)
- If parents were born outside the U.S., date of arrival to U.S
- Other sources of income
