Biography
Tony Aguilar is a freelance trombonist, composer, arranger and educator. He is a retired instrumental music instructor of the Bakersfield City Schools District and currently, the applied jazz trombone instructor with Bakersfield College. He is also a co-director of the Kern County High School Honor Jazz Band and has been for the last 30 years. He currently performs with Thee Majestics, a commercial band, with Viento, a Latin jazz/salsa band and with the Bakersfield Jazz Orchestra, a professional big band jazz group.
