About Jessica

Professor Black teaches General Psychology, Statistics, and Research Methods at the Bakersfield Southwest campus. She obtained her PhD in Social/Developmental Psychology with a Quantitative Minor at University of Oklahoma in 2018. Her research focuses on the intersection of morality, narrative, and imagination, and she enjoys bringing research of all sorts into the classroom.
