Derek Robinson is a distinguished individual with a remarkable career in public service and athletics. With 26 years of dedicated service, he retired as a Fire Captain, leaving an indelible mark on his community as a first responder. Derek's commitment to his role extended to his leadership within the firefighter's union, where he served as president for 14 years.

Beyond his career in firefighting, Derek is also a published author, sharing his insights and experiences in the book "Continue." His passion for education and public safety led him to a new chapter in life when he assumed the role of Director of Public Safety Training Programs at Bakersfield College in 2021.

Derek's athletic prowess is equally impressive, boasting a college All-American status and multiple NCAA championships in swimming. Amidst all these achievements, he remains a devoted father to his son.
