This page provides links to lessons, unit plans and activities to use to frame the Planetarium field trip experience with your students.
Some of these lessons were created by Lisa Strobel in 2006, while others are created by others (with links to those sites) in 2006.
All of the lessons included here are aligned to the California State Standards for grades 3, 5, 8 and 9-12 as of 2006 (make appropriate translations to current standards).
Most of the lessons cite both Earth Science and Language Arts standards.
The lessons are a mixture of computer based activities, inquiry based hands-on activities, reading, writing, art and cooperative learning.
Feel free to modify lessons to fit your needs.
