City of Bakersfield Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Technical Assistance and Grant Program 2.0

Bakersfield College Launchpad, in partnership with the City of Bakersfield, is proud to announce the City of Bakersfield’s Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Technical Assistance and Grant Program 2.0. This initiative builds on the success of Phase 1, which supported local businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new grant program will launch on February 3, 2025, offering eligible businesses within City limits and in a Qualified Census Tract the opportunity to apply for grants of $2,500, $5,000, or $20,000. Grant funding may be used for payroll and benefits, utility payments, mortgage or rent payments, business document preparation, license or permit fees, expansion costs (excluding construction activities), transportation costs, marketing and promotion, and operating expenses and capital.
