Transferring to a four-year college or university is an important step in your educational career.

The Transfer Opportunities web pages will help you with transfer preparation to a college or university. Bakersfield College's Transfer Center and the Counseling and Advising Centers can provide you with information about transfer admissions, general education patterns, and major preparation.

Bakersfield College is a great place to fulfill your lower division general education, as well as, your major preparation for transfer.

Counselors and Educational Advisors are available to assist you in developing your educational plan specifically designed to meet your transfer goals. It is suggested that you make an appointment with the transfer counselor, Sue Granger-Dickson, early in your educational career.
