The California State University (CSU) system consists of 23 campuses. It is the largest system of senior higher education in the U.S. and grants over 50% of the bachelor's degrees in the State of California every year. Over 70% of the students who graduate from the CSU system entered as transfer students! Students may attend the CSU part-time as well as full-time and many evening classes are offered.
Minimum Admission Requirements:
All students are encouraged to complete the lower division general education requirements for CSU general education or IGETC (Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum).
Remaining units should be toward lower division major preparation, if available, to increase you competitive status.
You are urged to apply early, during the first month of the application filing period which is:
Applications are available in the Counseling Department at the counter or in Transfer Services, located upstairs in the Student Services building . All campuses encourage students to apply on-line, the preferred method of application.
CSU system catalogs are available for student use in the Transfer Center and Career Center or they may be accessed on-line.
