The Small Business Development Center at the Kern Community College District works to promote the expansion and development of small business in our area. We provide one-on-one counseling at no cost to assist small businesses expand and for entrepreneurs to start their own businesses. The SBDC offers one-stop business counseling, training and economic development resources. Free and low-cost training and counseling are available in a wide range of areas, including: business planning, management, marketing, finance, accounting, strategic planning, taxation, regulation, human resource management, intellectual property and much more. We particularly help small businesses to find financing to expand their business operations.
