Introduction to Library Research - 1
Lecture and hands-on research class which will develop a basic familiarity with libraries and information resources as a foundation for research needs. Students will learn about different types of information resources and different search methods in the library and online. Evaluation and ethical use of resources, both print and electronic, is emphasized. Prerequisite: Reading and Writing - 1 level prior to transfer. Hours: 18 lect. Offered: F, S. CCS: Liberal Arts & Sciences. Transferable: UC, CSU and private colleges. Note: Not open to students who have taken the equivalent course LIBR B34.
