Electronic System Installation covers the design, installation, integration, and certification of residential low-voltage wiring systems, such as: telephone, data communications, video systems, cable and satellite systems, audio systems, home automation, security systems, and other integrated home technologies. Hands-on installation, testing, and certification of these systems will occur during the lab portion of this course. Students will be prepared for residential low-voltage industry certifications Prerequisite: ELET B1 with a grade of C or better. Recommended: Reading - 1 level prior to transfer Hours: 36 lecture, 54 lab. CCS: Occupational Education. Not Transferable: Associate Degree only.
