Command and control techniques used at the scene of an emergency by fire company officers. Emphasizes decision making, the act of commanding, personnel and organization structures and pre-planning for effective command performance particularly related to high-rise building emergencies. Includes a review of the Incident Command System instituted by the State of California Fire Services. Prerequisite: FIRE B51b. Hours: (40) 27 lect, 13 lab for 1 week. Offered: F, S, SS.
