Core Agriculture course; required of all Agriculture majors. The place of agriculture and farming in the economic system; basic economic concepts, and problems of agriculture; pricing and marketing problems, factors of production; state and federal farm programs affecting the farmerís economic position. Recommended: Reading Level 5 or 6. Prerequisite: Successful completion of or concurrent enrollment in MATH BA/B200A. Hours: 54 lect. CCS: Occupational Education.
