Animal Science

The Animal Science major prepares students for occupations in those areas of agriculture involving production of livestock.

Both the scientific and practical aspects of the production of horse, beef, sheep, swine and dairy cattle are stressed in the day courses. Career opportunities in Animal Science include Feed salesperson, beef production, swine production and dairy production.
