This program develops student’s knowledge and skills in automotive and light truck heating and air conditioning systems. The program includes instruction and theory in the operation, diagnosis, environmental concerns from refrigerants, electrical controls and computer operation, and proper repairs to these systems. Career opportunities in Automotive Technology prepares automotive technicians for employment as auto technicians for operation, diagnosis, environmental concerns from refrigerants, electrical controls and computer operation, and proper repairs to these systems.
