Certificate of Achievement
Child Development Teacher

The Certificate of Achievement may be earned by students who satisfactorily complete 28 units of coursework listed below with a grade of "C" or better. This coursework meets the Child Development requirements for the Child Development Teacher Permit. Students may apply for the Permit at the Kern County Superintendent of Schools, Office of Credentials, 636-4750 or 636-4751. Students must also meet the General Education requirement and Experience requirement in accordance with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
