Geology

The major in geology is appropriate for students interested in the natural science who desire to be employable within the local petroleum industry as a geo-tech, or who plan to transfer to a 4-year university with a major in geology. The major is designed to provide students with complete general education in math and science, a well-rounded introduction to physical and historical geology, as well as an introduction to some basic engineering skills.
